Well said Sam, if you choose to give your art to a AI collective, you should be given money for each work submitted. Every time elements from your work are used, you should also be given money and credit for the input. These companies using and combining copyrighted images should be charged.

I have autism and I love using AI to talk about my special interests as much as I want because it generally already knows a lot about the topics, it's not judgmental, and it means I'm not bothering people with it nonstop. That frees me up to engage with people about what they're interested in because I haven't bottled all that up.

I have worked in the service industry for 10 years. I have been in a college town since Covid and it’s insane how much ai has effected education. These young bucks are so behind because they were so dependent on Ai/Google through school. I see such a lapse and it’s so sad

I ve been a concept designer in animation for 25 years , it was a bumpy road, but it s the first year I cannot make a living anymore and it s not going to get better . Using AI is becoming a MUST in most concept jobs. Sad times for people who like to create not stealing from others.

I feel like it's important to mention that this analogy tackles not the problem and/or "unethicalness" (don't know the word for this) of using AI art, but the fact that in both examples, the person is misunderstanding the work behind the object and the effort and misconstruing the meaning of the work put in.
