I’m not kidding, I saw a tweet last night that basically said that if you make music using a computer, you’re not allowed to complain about AI. As if spending days, weeks, maybe even months composing and arranging a whole song yourself inside a piece of software (depending on the artist, of course) is remotely comparable to typing a few words and hitting Enter. Even a crappy 4-bar loop made in two minutes with cheap MIDI presets holds more value than any AI-generated slop.
The worst part is the tweet has over 100k likes.
