Turkey is the only country to condemn it, there's very little condemnation of it outside of the West (either by Muslim or non-Muslim countries). Malaysia has taken in a lot of Uyghur refugees but is diplomatically quiet on the issue.
The current LLM architecture will never "fix" hallucinations. In fact, hallucinations are mathematically inevitable with the algorithm. Prominent AI researchers such as Yann LeCun have been warning about the limitations of LLMs for the past few years.
These "react streamers" are more easily replaceable by AIs than artists. Most people come to these streamers to have their opinion spit back to their faces and be validated which an AI can easily do that.
No matter how many "pretty" images ai make, im sticking with drawing the illustrations for my novel myself. Even if it isn't as good looking, i'd rather look crude from the bottom of my heart than let a machine imitate my passion.
Some coked up middle manager is like "wow this ai rollout sucks, musta been them damn gen zees intentionally sabotaging it."
Since some of you are unable to get caption. Here is the copy of it.
This is the type of prompts in the list:
1. Breaking Down Complex Topics
Prompt:
"Explain [topic] to me as if I were a beginner, then gradually increase the complexity. Start with the basics, and add real-world examples as we progress."
2. Explanation with Progressive Complexity
Prompt:
"Provide a step-by-step explanation of…
It wont replace programmers, its all hype bullshit, studies prove ai only slows down programmers, problems like data drought and scaling laws is also ignored.
They are a flawed democracy. [But they still rank higher than the US according to the Democracy Index](https://www.eiu.com/public/topical_report.aspx?campaignid=DemocracyIndex2017).
As an example, any time the Daily Mail gets caught peddling falsehoods, they stealth edit the article instead of posting a clear correction.
The article notes the New York Times did something similar in 2016
Other times media just yank the article entirely.
And frankly, the excuse about AI scraping "their" content is a bit rich since newsrooms were gutted 30 years ago and the majority of conte…
"What is my purpose"? - robot
"you pass butter" - Rick
"Oh my god" - robot (depressed)
What's insane is. They could have used like official Sega art, colored over it, and then fed it to the AI. It would have produced the same results: Ugly AI trash. Do I think that is better? No. My point is they didn't have to use their friend like this if they really wanted the money. They made a conscious choice to take advantage of Sirpyes
I remember when AI was going to make life easier and reduce mundane tasks. Instead it's just replacing things people want to do.
It's because "programming" a filter for an LLM is literally saying "without saying these words:" and listing off the filtered words. Or in neuro's case, "instead of these words say filtered"
Problem is the way LLMs work, they're suggestions, not rules. Which is why every LLM that tries to add guard rails always ends up make the model basically useless.
Remember when Dungeon AI tried to remove c…
this has nuance and far too many times the point is not getting got.
First the numbers:
If you look at total emissions, India emitted around 2.62 billions tonnes in 2019 (fossil fuel and cement production emissions, agriculture excluded, see source cited for more information). For context, China came in 1st with 10.17 billion tonnes, then came the US emitted 5.28 billion tonnes in the same year…
Especially since he said if something really bad happens blame AI'. What really bad thing happened?!
Our team has a channel where people post their ai success stories. Mostly it's people using it to bang out scripts and one off tools. Every single time I've seen someone try to use it on our main code base, it's gone horribly wrong.
For me the good interactions are "this is how interactions should always be" and the bad ones are just failures. Perfectionism.
5:00 corporate tax rates have been decimated, wages stagnant, and jobs cut while profits soared. The rich do not share the benefits with humanity now and ai will be no different.
It sounds like you've got a pretty solid plan already which is awesome. What I'd recommend doing is going through as much old literature as you can, anything before 2022, and running it through GPTZero. It's a notoriously unreliable piece of absolute dog shit. You can easily find dozens, *hundreds* of examples where it marks things as AI-generated when it's not even possible for them to have been…
I can’t draw for shit, so I could see myself using “AI Art” as a tool to help visualize my characters or scene imagery on my computer screen when I’m writing descriptions (like you said, it’s a glorified Google or Pinterest search lol). But, I would never be deluded enough to claim the images as my own art, and use it for marketing materials and whatnot lol
