One of the saddest things is how unaware many people are of the fact that they will be replaced. What's in frontier labs *now*, when tested and released in 6-18 months, will hit a lot of jobs people consider 'safe' today. The disconnect between what AI can do and what the average person thinks it can do is enormous. These people are going to be totally unprepared when it happens.
