Actors and their unions need to stand in solidarity with themselves. AND audiences need to boycott AI media. If AI uses up your favorite actors and spits them out, those actors will choose to disappear forever.

The programming and algorithms are no that impossible to do nowadays. Any government can do this now. The challenge should have been whether all of these control systems are even truly beneficial let alone ethical. Technology should augment and enrich human lives and not control it.

I cannot believe that we are living through the time in history where AI becomes powerful enough to get the attention of the US government. This is becoming very real. Now lets see if humanity can actually pull this off.

I have heard from one source that these companies claiming to be replacing younger and/or less skilled office employees with AI are actually outsourcing these jobs with very cheap labor from the “Global South” like India.
