Good pick up. Pretty crazy commute. Obviously a super hard working and loving dad, tragic it happened for his wife, kids, parents, and friends.
The comment at the end rings true. It’s too much to ask of people to simultaneously trust their cars auto driving feature while paying attention. I think fully autonomous is the way (ie Waymo) if you want that sort of thing but we’re so far away that this transitional period will be really bumpy.
Personally I found Teslas autopilot too nerve racking and had too many close calls that I just never use it.
