Raw LLM Responses

I remember when generative AI art was first starting out. It was SO MUCH FUN and really cool because it was new and the AI was really bad at it. It could try to make vague human shapes, and if it did make things like faces it was creepy and awful. My friends and I loved to use Wombo to make stuff. We figured out putting "Lady of ______" would give us really interesting results! Lady of sapphires would create this blue jewel abstract woman shape that was mesmerizing. It was really interesting to see a computer try to make art when it was first starting out because it was before it started just stealing everything online and people used it to be deceiving. It was a fun concept to be like "Let's see a computer try to make a woman out of roses!" Then there was the "trail cam of Shrek eating a chillidog" phase that was also a ton of fun because of the meme stuff people were coming up with. It was being used for fun and amusement. Now look at what it's become. We're going to have to try to guess if things are real or not because it's got so accurate. Better than the best photoshoppers. Pair generative AI with good photoshop and the amount of deception will reach unfathomable heights. Not to mention the environmental impact! I was still secretly having fun with genAI art until I found out how much water it uses per generation. That was what finally made me stop, though I am ashamed I used it after knowing it steals art. I figured "eh, I'm not posting it or anything" but using the app/website is still good for the people who run it, so it's still bad. I just remember feeling inspired to draw when I was generating images. Now AI slop (even though its not even slop anymore) is everywhere and I just want to see real art again. There's a difference between a smart editor being able to touch up a selfie on an app where it removes the dogs humping in the background you didn't notice when you took the selfie (although it would be way funnier to post it like that, but I get people wanting to just post a nice picture) and the ridiculous stupid integration they're forcing everywhere where it's not needed, useful, or good. Even autocorrect is being affected! They changed the algorithms! It used to be something along the lines of "Correct misspelled word to closest approximation based on keyboard configuration: woth > with, teh > the, adn > and. Correcting homophones: to > too, there > their. Grammar and capitalizing." Now it just bases things off most popularly used. If people use or spell a word wrong more than they spell or use it correctly it just uses the wrong way now. I can't tell you how many times my phone corrected "my" to "Mt".... drives me INSANE.
