I dont know if you are joking, but I am interested in a serious fashion about this. Claude can do a pretty good job in finding bugs if you give it enough context Also, are people really that dumb now days that don't know how to use a debugger? It literally tells you each value of the function on a step by step basis

[Here's a source](https://youtu.be/rjxAYdUe8uU?si=Rae2w3ai7_QtGcT6) It's not just eyes, the scammer is straight up AI-slopping their own face onto a random image and using it to get verified. Which means if you find one of these profiles, the last photo will be the face of the guy trying to scam you (potentially on Ariana Grande's body on a billboard) which is pretty creepy. Also it doubles a…

if you want to be prepared to give AI rights how about we give animals rights first and stop killing them. I think that would give us an idea on what to do later

My first recomendation would be that we don't create these problems in the first place! If we do, then it's stupidity at its finest, because now we would have to worry about more morality and more arguments in the future! But...if a robot was to be sentient, then I wouldn't have anything against the robot itself.

Obviously this situation is horrible and AI sucks and stuff but I also feel bad for that kid's very unfortunate given name. Really hope the parents were unaware of its connotation or it has some other meaning I'm unaware of

What's ironic is that there was an ad for an AI company prior to me watching this.

Talking to ChatGPT for a few minutes and then asking it to make some general statements about the sort of person I am based on that limited interaction, it was impressive how accurate it was. What struck me most was how this could be used by psychiatrists to help diagnose conditions that they might not ever catch, or make a differential diagnosis, or better treatment. If it were more specialized,…

I'm 32 spent most of my late 20s and early 30s incarcerated. Ive been blessed and had a chance to go to community college and one of my English classes weve been spending the last two weeks learning and wrighting small papers about how ai erodes critical thinking. I'm blessed to come across this podcast y'all truly nailed it...

Appreciate all the comments, both the agreeing and disagreeing. Essentially what I'm seeing is that most arguments against AI art boil down to the material harm it does to artists, which is essentially the point reached in the video. So trust me when I say we're in agreement there. I'd like to unpack that in a video encompassing automation as a whole next so keep an eye out for that I suppose.

I was driving my Duramax Diesel truck when it started making a noise. I rolled down both front windows and listened. The noise was coming more from the passenger side. I then sped up and slowed the motor. The noise changed in pitch, so I knew that it was in the drive train. Finally, I put the transmission in neutral and revved the engine while the truck was going down the road. The noise again ch…

Google has already ruined their reputation from my perspective. Half of America atleast is likely not going to use Google's AI and will use alternatives because they don't trust it from the start. This was one of the worst releases I've ever seen for ensuring consumer trust.

I do not understand the debate around superintelligence at all. You are creating something that will be more powerful than any human alive, can improve itself autonomously and can copy itself and infinite number of times. An entity like this is almost definitionally uncontrollable. Its unfathomable to me that anyone would want to create something that would have near total control over every sing…

As much as I agree with these points, none of these are going to convince any non artist that AI is bad. As someone who makes a living working with AI, the point I bring up to convince non artists is how gen AI works. Generative AI when placing the next element of their output, guesses the average next thing to place based on the last thing they placed. This means the output of an AI will always …

"Hey let's take the smartest known computer in the universe - the human brain - out of the equation in favor of some vague questions posed by people the defendants will never meet." "Sounds great!" I get we all have biases and there should be checks in place to offset them. But rules and algorithms are just poor substitutes for common sense in a lot of ways. I wonder if the ongoing labor short…

The stupidest thing about the man who got arrested after showing his ID was that the police officer trusted the AI even though he thought the "fake ID" was so good that he probably got it made by a contact he had in the DMV.

I will bring it up here: if you don't care about owning anything, AI is fine. Have a D&D character you want a quick piece of art for? Sure. No one cares about that. But if you're publishing a book cover? And you use AI? You don't own that art and you're posting it publicly. If your book got big, then you will have opened yourself up for massive lawsuits in the future, because you have no legal r…

You can spot AI-generated content by looking for a lack of personal anecdotes, overly perfect or „waxy” visuals, and inconsistencies in text and images, such as nonsensical details or unnatural shadows. Fact-checking sources, checking for repetitive phrases, and looking for unusual or exaggerated „facts” are also useful techniques. For images, examine hands, background details, and lighting for p…

Are competitors gonna have to go back to traditional paint and canvas when competing in these conventions? Cause that seems to be the best way to ensure that no AI was used in the making of or complete production of an art piece. Maybe record your entire process in real time so judges will know it’s you
