We can't really do that. Solar panels need a somewhat temperature stable environment as they cannot endure extreme thermal cycling. Also, constant dust and sand exposure will firstly block sun and secondly act as an abrasive when it gets on the panels. Solar panels in the Sahara would be a terrible investment.

The thing that scares me is that animals don't even understand the concept of a question. Something so basic to us. Imagine the difference between us and any sort of advanced AI.
