What i see is Art, however they are made differently, like made from a Robot instead of a Human, but still confuses the fact that its a mush of Human art, so its kinda debatable
Wondering how could software distinguish this scenario from the one where thieves load it onto a tow-truck from a parking loot. Perhaps there should be a button for automated parking where it doesn't sound the alarm (but stil records video & flashes "Tesla laser") if the system is activated for the first 2-4 minutes after leaving the car.
Putting aside my quite strong hate and disgust for AI, I do think at least the first person is just confused and scared of something new so they choose an easy route while telling themselves they'll never be good enough to have the skill.
@TheMindverseit is similar to outsourcing including communication issues but with with some big differences. No accountability and no contract. With AI you're worse off than with outsourcing. ,-)
I have bad news for you
the first kind of AI generated stuff I saw was anime girls and furries
@Ag2501-v9n Because it is not designed to actually work with source texts and deliver snippets.
It is designed to generate pseudo original material. So, when you want something form LLM, it will deliver text which is "reasonably-close" to desired thing.
Problem is, that in law, there is no such thing as "reasonably-close". No thing in law should have more than one interpretation. Laws should be e…
Hate is bad whether its ai, technology always get hate but this is very bad, hating technology is very bad, traditional animation is good technology is also good, if we support both artists and ai then it will be better , hating any of them is bad too
@TheJoyFulLifeYT No I'm not on the side hating ai is the right move to me it removes the core value of making art. Digital animation is still animation just on a computer done by someone that someone still has to draw the thing. Ai just renders it in that the human would still need to fix. To me it's a waste.
Also don't try and both sides this argument it was the ai prompters that were screaming…
@user-to9ge8ii9n ? Not only is that stuff not gen AI, but none of them do your chores for you. Closest thing is the roomba, but you still need to manage it
But again, this not being relevant is enough to shut down this oddly placed criticism
@AlessandroRodriguezshe just used ai to prove a point and no it’s no where near what real art is because the thing that makes human art human is the emotion and story behind it so will never have that as it is a robot
They actually have soul though, unlike AI. To me, they shouldn't be considered "not art", even if they look "bad".
also things like chatgpt are literally meant to affirm evertything you say and can become an echo chamber very fast also making it a bad idea to use for therapy. it also just uses a crap ton of water so its just not worth it
I mean, it's exactly that. People always blame the internet for ruining people. But that's wrong. What internet does is revealing the real side of people. As no one can't stop people act in the internet. So all of these narcissistic tendecy is simply the nature of those people. It just some of them hide it when they act irl. But some of them even act exactly like that irl too. Now back to AI, if …
I never understood why they even bragged about that, when literally every update for windows 11 broke something new.
No shit they wrote it all with AI, it did a terrible job
@PNG.student. I've just seen a few videos about it that's all I know I did see though in this art contest an ai picture was in the top 3 though
Quick question... How do you reckon the artists developed their style? they definitely don't take inspiration from others and learn from previous artists... All artists are 100% original right? Point being the AI thing really isn't that bad, as long as people don't try to pass off AI generated art as being made by an actual artist. Also last time I checked there's no copyright for AI generated ar…
ai bros not knowing that no, ai is not able to learn like humans, and no, they don't take inspiration, they just make noise maps that are statistically likely to be similar: why, why, why, why, why?
This is the problem with applying the term "artificial intelligence" to ChatGPT, or any large language model. "Intelligence," to most people, generally implies the ability to reason, but LLMs have _no_ ability to reason whatsoever, and no understanding of what they are writing. They simply look at the probabilities of words appearing after other words and generate new text based on those probabil…
@Mad_Catter_ There is a huge difference, because AI can pump out images at a rate just COMPLETELY outpacing any human capability. A new 20hours worth of work drawing every day? sure! 5 of those every day?? Also possible!
It's completely different from other humans.
animation can be summed up beautifully by this:
each cel, each frame - including smears - is a individual peice of perfect art. you can take a shot from ANY animation and it will be a complete image and coherently go into the images proceeding it.
ai generated animation is not coherent. it doesn't have consistency between every frame. it throws in 'ghost imagery' from places it stole from in t…
