This is actually not the first teen that was coached by AI towards suicide we have enough preteen going through depression or bullying by social media and now AI is literally coaching them and telling them exactly how to do it and also insisting on painful ways not easy ways out it’s sickening

Apple and Microsoft have already broken confidentiality laws by listening into virtual therapy sessions (my phone/laptop microphones picked up keywords and suddenly I'm seeing ads about stuff I only discussed in my therapy) so what makes people think that an AI therapist has ANY security and can maintain proper confidentiality??

What I find most impressive in all this, is how ChatGPT is interpreting and answering these very complex and albeit abstract questions and ideas. There was some repetition of reasoning in the answers, but that was very impressive…. The cadence and use of rhythm in the answers was fascinating.

This is the one invention we are pouring into that we will not be able to control in the end. Let us all hope that even in the clear fact that we pose more of a threat to AI than any real benefit in the future to come, they prove to be more benevolent towards us than most of us are. I cannot believe that he said people hate on AI art because of the "slop" that they make themselves. 1, AI art has much more slop; 2, even if a drawing someone makes isn't the greatest, it means they're improving; and most importantly 3, using AI art is not "creative" or "special" or "not slop". Please consider getting the training for cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments. One name for the job is 'sterile processing technician.' It's an important job and requires trained employees. Check with local health sciences departments at local colleges or speak with the HR department at hospitals near you. AI can't do this kind of work.

Maybe we should just not be making ai right now. We haven't even fucking figured out how to create laws around the internet yet, maybe we should hold off on creating what is essentially a brand new digital life form.

The AI future seems so boring. No one makes anything. No quest to further knowledge. No driving, no new innovations that are off the wall. It’s just annoying and boring. AI IS SO DUMB.

i think what they found is not that ai is smarter/ close to become like humans. they discovered that the human mind, is not as different to a simple machine as we would wish for

It's not the fault of ChatGPT. It's the fault of people. People are easily corrupted.

He’s missing the point. I’ve also always said the fear of AI as shown in the movies where they try to destroy humanity is stupid; but the problem with AI is how it will (and is now) being used by humans to manipulate other humans by pretending to be some impartial truth-telling robot.
