AI is out of control I’m in a few art groups on FB and I find a lot of the members are accusing the artist that they used AI instead of creating the wonderful piece of artwork on their own!
“Predictive Policing” = wasting time and resources, committing violent crime and helping actual crime to go unpunished.
Similar to Adam Duff's take on the AI issue: it wasn't always about the skill required for the art piece: it's about the journey, the process and feels poured into something you love and sharing it to others for its own sake.
People commenting on this video criticizing him 10 months ago . Now look how far ai came in just 10 months 😢 i don't want to say that but he is right
Forget SkyNet. AI is going to kill us one by one with horrible health advice
None of this requires generative AI, this is just computer vision and standard machine learning they've always used. What is this reporting?
Facial recognition is just another way to harass people, while mis-identifying and arresting the wrong people!
There's no camera system currently available for ADAS systems that can match the performance of human eyes in diverse lighting conditions.
Also, humans actually don't see with our eyes, we see with our brains. No current AI can match what a human brain can do.
I'd like to see you explore the ramification of quantum computing specifically for the creation of Ai training \ data sets and onwards to Realtime analysis. It occurred to me that using QC as a generic computation engine and the unique but very narrow form of problems it can help with is a domain that AI could master very easily (problem formation and ramification analysis of the result). We woul…
You see they will instantly regret this, because as more people lose their jobs they would stop buying these big tech companies premium subscriptions which would eventually reduce the usage of AI
This is not my personal experience.
Maybe I'm just too weird, but these algorithms do not do this for me. I never have this experience of being understood by these apps and have to reject feedback on 60-70% of suggestions.
Elementary schoolers K-5 mostly, Middle schoolers 6-8 mostly… that is deathly sickening! Just a picture can ruin someone’s life because some sick people deepfaked them… and people are so gullible they believe it’s real because who would voluntarily do that.?
I respect Sam for being honest about the dangers of AI and where it could lead. We are in uncharted territory and it’s going to advance faster and faster to the point where it’s indistinguishable from human behavior and nature.
My favourite is when Copilot says "Take a deep breath" when I ask it a question.
He’s so against her position, and she responded beautifully 2:05:07 , “yeah because that’s designed to enable people like you” and that couldn’t be more accurate, so he’s so in peace with AI development as it is just because he doesn’t need to pay for labor anymore, because his car can drive by itself, because with this bubble he’s getting more and more sponsorship, so he does not listen to the c…
I wonder if people would be so enamored with AI if they understood that it was just a text generator. So many people seem to believe that, as long as an AI was trained on the "right" data, it will be correct. I nearly got into an argument at work trying to explain that, just because the AI was trained on our internal documents doesn't mean that it won't hallucinate.
I worry about people who are disabled, and couldn't even grab ahold of the wheel in an emergency, those videos where people got stuck in the self driving vehicles were terrifying too.
My children will probably live in a world like cyber punk but with AI's as villain.
We literally have self driving cars (Waymo) that have had less accidents caused by the autopilot feature with no input from a driver. Tesla relies on cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors, while Waymo uses RADAR, LiDAR, cameras, external audio receivers, and maps. The LiDAR addition is probably the biggest difference, besides not allowing passengers to touch the wheel at all. They also tested ex…
I'm a unity developer and it always cracked me up how people believed that simply because ai is written in code and I write code I'm gonna be the first to lose my job while the reality is that I'm gonna be literally the last one
