As designers we need to be conscious of how these Ai tools effect others. It is your duty and obligation to use it responsibly. Just because the tools are there doesn't mean you should use them. Designers replacing or not needing illustrators is a bit of a slap in the face for me as someone who has an illustration background but moved more into design. I think you should still hire an illustrator…

No offense, but this guy is a classic example of living in an intellectual bubble. His viewpoint is closer to complete fantasy, when in reality, AI is no way near taking over people's jobs at large scale. Many jobs in the modern workplace are fundamentally extremely nuanced and messy, with people having to effectively think across multiple fronts, connecting dots, people, different systems, proce…
I bet the same people that say my body my choice and choose not to wear masks right now will start to wear masks when masks get banned due to facial recognition.
The guy who is scared of AI and knows a lot about technology must be Elon Musk
As a person who studies in Cybersecurity its really freightning to see how far technology is evolving quickly like i know AI is still being tested and it has its perks but im frightened on how far we as humanity are going to be using it especially in our daily lives how long before technology starts doing everything for us and we start becoming the lazy ones But what will happen when that all get…
The ironic part is there are more similar AI generated art of characters but this one is completely different 💀
I believe he said there's a higher than 50% chance of AI being an existential threat, not that we had a higher than 50% chance of being destroyed by it.
If AI takes over all the manufacture and agriculture jobs and more, who is paying taxes and how will people afford to buy all these products made by AI
Once we have developed AGI, we will have rolled the dice. It's absolutely impossible to know if it would take control or not. There's no point on having an "emergency switch" in case it turns bad because If it's smarter than us, it can earn our confidence, even our love. God... I even feel grateful to ChatGPT each time it helps me with something and I even tell "it was nice talking to you!" to it…
They basically shot themselves in the foot, IE broke their own TOS on copyright by making this AI Generator.
I am not a leftist, never have been and will never be. Yet, as a member of the WESTERN society, a social scientist and AI researcher I second every word Bernie said.
5:09 ok i know its not directly related to the subject but the fact that your childhood home subconsciously inspired your work absolutely melted my heart and soul. You can't get that with AI art, cuz there's no passion or subconscious memory-based inspiration behind it. Just code and algorithms made to mimic the act of creation, which I believe is what makes humans... well, human.
Most people who talk about getting over AI and "stop crying" don't even create art, and it's upsetting. They don't know what it's like to put your heart into your creations, and then have it stolen behind your back. Thank you for speaking out about this!!!
I'd rather have Ai then a human to be a radiologist, if it means it's more accurate, it will cost less too, that means more people will get yearly check ups and better overall healthcare.
Imagine the creators set a mode where the robot randomly went wide eyed and made a crazy face while you’re talking to it
Driverless trucks will make us appreciate human truck drivers. There's no way there's a zero chance of a driverless truck not killing someone eventually...
In the beginning, I think chatgpt was attempting to be realistic about how charity works. Basically, like regardless of what that website says, you cant guarantee your money will save those children.
I just write drafts and let AI fix my mistakes and then roll with it. I still do have to think about what to write next and continue my very dumb cycle
If the family is publicly claiming that ChatGPT encouraged their son's suicide, the transcripts need to be released verbatim.
