Re: 0:40 - Intel did not do layoffs to replace people with AI. At least that was not the main reason. They did layoffs because they were not making money.
These things are making Chinese students a robot. For some reason, I feel bad for them. They don't have any privacy.
First saw her on democracy now. Now my YouTube algorithm brings me this interview 😂Incredibly informative about what AI is and the people behind its growth!
"A robot might take your job, but it sure as hell won't take your paycheck, I'd be worried about the person taking your payvheck rather than the robot"
Finally i found someone raising voice about this issue, most of the artist seems to be very satisfied with AI craziness, i dont. I totally agree with your points. i hate the art job can be done in seconds, there is no fun doing art work anymore. its all got ruined, when rookies making AI crap in seconds and i am making real art in weeks.
You can vibe code, but like all things you need to have knowledge about what you are doing. You need to know how to set rules and inspect. You need knowledge of basic design. For example if i'm vibe coding a project that interacts with a database, you need to ensure no database actions occur while the user is unauthenticated and you want to wrap those actions appropriately. I don't think you can…
I was skeptical about this guy's claims at first, but after listening to his arguments, I think he makes a lot of sense. It's important that we have open discussions about the potential risks and benefits of AI, and take steps to mitigate any negative impacts it may have. It's refreshing to see someone advocating for responsible development and use of this technology.
Refreshing to see the comments unanimously call this fraud out. 🙌
This guy talks PURE FANTASY for anyone who understands the basics of how LLMs work.
A fancy next word predictor like ChatGPT is not gonna become "sentient" or "super intelligent"- EVER. Put the sci-fi novel down, Daniel.
I do worry about the reliability of them. If a taxi or uber driver crashes their car, they are responsible for any harm they cause you. Self driving car companies that expect you to be monitoring your car as it drives itself can push the blame on you for their own mistakes. This is most clearly the case with Tesla, where their cars will stop self-driving if they see an imminent crash. This allows…
I feel that there are less and less artist will go a long way to make art if this AI go rampant. Protect the artist.
Yeah, let the AI take over medicine. The behavior of doctors and medical staff these days is beyond robotic anyways.
Hello, I do A.I. as a hobby.
DO NOT take a LLM's word for it. It must provide sources for it's reasoning, not only that, you must check these sources as well. Treat the A.I. like an enthusiastic friend, verify that the articles it referenced aren't also AI, this is known as Inbreeding, where AI is trained on/uses a source from another AI.
AI also hallucinates, and is confidently wrong, my best…
@smokenojoke8182 Problem is, a lot of the things we desire and pursue and find passion doing are the same things AI will be able to replicate and do. So then that doesn't leave humanity with much purpose. We will only have intraspecies socialization left, and then we will essentially be like zoo animals in a world controlled by AI...
And it doesn’t matter anyway. They’re going to automate it because it’s cheaper even if they pay five bucks an hour. Long haul trucking is perfect for automation. All these centers are already placed along highways with easy access that many autonomous vehicles could manage today.
This one though seems to have an upside... just like how most of us recognise that the "billionaire" privileged class is the biggest problem to the planet with their greed, I've a notion So will A.I.
@lol-ih4wy ChatGPTs responses are rooted in people pleasing it will try to butter answers as much as possible but will still give you the right answer most of the time it seems just with a lot of sugar on it
@Cafeallday222did you notice he didnt mention communism at all? Mah 'merican fren ❤
Yeah lets wait for ai to do this as well for us, thank you Skynet 😂fml
So whats you mean? That AI is danger and Ai is better than every field
it's total bullshit. ai-generated images (not "art", images) really shouldn't be monetized unless you built the ai your damn self and only trained it on your art and your art alone
A recent study found a correlation between frequent gen AI use and personality traits like narcissism. Not surprising and explains a lot.
