What?!! How the fuck is some random app supposed to know if I’m legal or not based on my biometrics? And the fact that they can ignore your birth certificate?!? Whaat the fuck!!!! I’m horrified.
Google will never run out of money, any company that makes a hundry billion in profit a year can easily borrow as much money as they want. Open AI talks about needing a trillion in investment, Google could actually get their hands on that money. Google is THAT guy.
Wrong, government is doing it, AI bros supporting every action of this, no manual labour will sift through hundreds of thousands of logs as fast as a top of the line AI system would.
To achieve this, you need database ops (oracle), software, hardware, infrastructure (Msft, openai, Google). Guess who can supply all of these for the govt... AI bros.
These guys have no idea how technology works and have no interest in understanding anything.
> We know that Claude was integral to Maduro's capture.
Did we ever hear how it was actually used?
And/or schadenfreude-ing.
There's been a segment of the population for decades on social media who delight in telling software engineers they're cooked.
I suspect it's mostly made up of losers who don't have the aptitude or temperament to succeed in software development who really want to believe that their lack of skill will be made irrelevant and that all the geeks with good jobs will be out …
This always annoys me. Taking selfies with my mates, never get facial recognition. It's a small peeve, but it's quite annoying.
I believe an entity deserves rights if it is capable of feeling pain and pleasure. Why we would ever program a robot that is capable of that, I've no idea. In the case of simulated torture to force robots to do our bidding, there is no need. A robot does exactly what it is programmed to do.
i see now the first problem with that robot is the lack of visual sensors a.k.a real eyes). the lack of expresion in those eyes make the experience distant.... she seems like having a trauma or something like that
I deactivated my SNS because of these AI videos and contents/shorts. I trained myself to watch long clips here on Youtube because I notice, I started losing interest in reading books which I can spend 5-6 hours before. Now I'm getting back on track. I could read 45 mins to 2 hours. I never regret making this decision. My brain is getting healthier again. Short videos affect our cognitive developm…
When they introduced AI, tech CEOs didn't expect this much backlash from the public because they had not yet learned about a concept so foreign as empathy.
There is a countermeasure. Other A.I. Drones designed to hunt down and kill these types of drones. This would start a new arms race.
I practice derma …and chat gpt is diagnosing primary lesions of skin so well differential diagnosis is so accurate…i can say AI may not replace doctors but definitely AI will decrease income of doctors because now with increasing no of doctors in india and everyone will use AI tools for diagnosis and management…but the other side of coin is it is good for common people
2D animators were able to transition to 3D animation for the most part, because the principles of animation are still the same and the computer does not animate by itself. AI is a bit different in this regard. It forces us to redefine what art really is in the first place.
Like a boss! That was a really good test. As good as AI will be it will have to be limited to what humans can handle. Soon there will be a different AI for different people. One for kids, or one for the elderly. To manage and moralize the content and limit the ability to alter-ego the AI. You’ll be able to customize your AI like an avatar until it becomes your best friend. They’ll get all the pr…
I lived in Florida from 1968 until 2023. 35 years in Pasco County. Saw a Pasco County deputy make a drug deal in 2005 and had problems the rest of my time there. Was able to move away. Had no other choice, some of their police are more corrupt than the criminal. It is a horrible policy. Fuck Nocco and his predictive policing policy. Practicing ESP without a license.
It isn't ai generated... A human made this... It was a 3D animator to demonstrate driving safety.
This is more scary than Orwell's 1984 and about equal to Huxley's Brave New World. Education is mostly indoctrination. More inventive children would be punished for "nonstandard thinking" and thought crimes. This is scary and may pop up in the US in the next 8 years. Beware of A.I. This is total control and mind control. -- Kenneth, from Texas
Her answers to questions have gotten more smooth since I've last seen a video on her. Less context mistakes.
You can see the political correct answers programmed into her, to assuage any fear of AI take over.
It's like a politician saying what people want to hear to be liked.
That in itself is scary, because when a politicians mouth is moving, he or she is lying as we know.
Not that she i…
There are so many people talking about AI risks, but this is really the first one that talks about what those risks are in details. Salute to Geoffrey. Thank you to DOAC as well for bringing this to public attention.
