As someone who studied Artificial intelligence before it became mainstream, I have been taught that AIs have to separate the data they process from the data they are trained onto to avoid being inbread (aka overfitting). AIs as the form of deep learing neural network can't learn, because the training data has to be separte from the data they process.

It is undeniable that there are good outcomes to AI art, such as allowing people with disabilities to produce high fidelity artwork. HOWEVER, the question we'll need to answer is: does the ends justify the means? I don't think the good outcomes of AI art justify the theft of millions of artworks.
