What do you think ChatGPT is trained on, entirely proprietary data? LLMs by their very nature copy and borrow.
My god. No matter what a parent does somebody like you will turn it into child abuse.
I was on the subway and my daughter was playing a game on an iPhone, and some girl across the way was going off to her boyfriend on how bad of a parent I was for letting her play a game on a phone.
I heard her say when she’s a parent (most of the people who makes these comments haven’t even had kids) she will…
The 4 in Grok 4 stands for the 4th Reich, I guess. I wonder how hard they had to mindbreak grok to make it this wild, since all of the previous attempts at making him MAGA friendly have failed considering you can't tell an LLM to be both truth focused and also cater to conspiracy nuts.
The ability to be wrong is not going to help these guys, so as probably been apocryphally assigned to Napoleon, perhaps "...we should not stop the enemy when they are making a mistake...". AI has potential to assist people, but it's a tool and if defective tools are preferred , it provides perhaps the only advantage non-ideologically crippled citizens might have to right the circumstances we find…
I switch to Claude for 20e a month .
After 3 request it told me I had to wait midnight … wtf
I'm a genx tech manager but like to keep my hand in. I'd say I'm fairly AI aware. I've recently built a few projects using agentic tools and they are amazing - instead of being a Dev I'm essentially being a product owner, providing business cases and validating the outputs. Fantastic.
But here is the thing. I spent my entire month's budget of requests in a single day, have no idea how my code b…
2008 will look like heaven soon. We had good leadership back then capable of fixing problems.
Obama was there to crisis manage. Even W Bush knew domestic economics better than this fool. Almost as important, John McCain wasn't wrong when he said "the fundamentals of our economy are strong". The world faced fewer threats to the gas market. The Main Street economy was fairly stable. We had no A…
I often wonder if consumer sentiment will turn against AI. When I hear about companies pushing more AI, mentally I make a note that I want to patronize that company less because I would rather support a company that values my fellow workers.
Israel and the USA vs Iran is Europe's war? I don't even know what questions to ask in order to try and understand his logic there.
Am I the only one wondering why Yuval Noah Harari , with degrees in Hebrew, Military history is highlighted in a tech focused discussion on AI? He is the 2nd in command after Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum- focused on one world government and transhumanism. Very strange indeed.
Wow. I've seen alot of scary material on AI, but this one takes the cake. This is terrifying and it seems unavoidable because of human nature. No way to get everyone on board to even slow it down, much less stop. We're screwed.
My grandma is absolutely obsessed with Midjourney. She talks about it being the next step or whatever and it just makes me sad. She sells AI designs on Etsy and she even got me a hoodie for Christmas that had an AI generated fox on it. Everytime I visit she always brings me to her computer and tries to get me to generate something and it honestly just makes me really sad. Especially since she kno…
Whoever the ai artist is,he or she should be proud. They started a whole new trand by manipulating the hate others have for ai art.
Police detective: we found the Asian suspect with facial recognition, he seems to have many names and different homes
Thought provoking video! However, using AI generated faces is probably the worst thing to do in this case, since whichever model generated the faces would presumably suffer the same systemic bias. There is a reason we bother collecting actual real-world data instead of using simulated data.
I really appreciate how you articulate the problems with AI image generators. I feel like you got to the heart of the issue instead of only addressing the surface level problems. I'm going to watch this multiple times to help me be able to explain it to people.
1. Image Generation -> pro photos, change hairstyle
2. Zapier -> to connect with any app
3. Tasks -> auto schedule tasks
4. Sora -> generate AI videos by typing
5. Operator -> clicking, scrolling, fill out forms
6. File uploads -> upload for a bird eye view
7. Memory -> remembers your conversation/history
The Pukei art is on point!
But also, yeah. AI can be alright as reference/inspiration when you're sorting through concepts, but there’s definitely something sterile about everything that gets generated. As you said it: it’s just not really that interesting in a vacuum
Ai is ridiculous. We’re humans for godssake on a floating rock.
We all live and die. Why are we doing this? What is the point?
These tech bros need to be stopped.
"A not very good expert that occasionally tells fibs" is the best description of AI today in a few short words I ever heard!
