I’ve been thinking alot about Stacey Abrams lately. Her organizing and grassroots efforts changed the political landscape of GA, and made it possible for Dems to be elected across the board.
When it was time for her to run, she lost, twice. Despite being the best candidate for the job. People criticized her weight, looks, attitude, etc. nobody had anything to say about her actual capabilities …
I don't trust the Chinese government but I do think that they're the only one who realised the immense threat that an AI monopoly in the hands of very few billionaires poses (sadly Europe is still sleepwalking as usual and Trump is siding with them instead of opposing them). Making AI open source doesn't eliminate the threat but it lowers it.
ChatGPT's bars were better balanced. All lines were a similar length and the punchlines were good. The rebuttals were great and addressing anything you said promptly. Your punchlines were nice but not your flow or the size of your bars, which were disproportionate and I don't imagine them flowing well as the sentences are not uniform. Sorry, I gotta go with the AI on this one, but hey, no shame i…
That's because AI struggles with unexpected behavior even and especially when the unexpected behavior is ostensibly sub optimal
A few unbeatable tabletop gaming bots were beat this way
Ok… so who is accountable?
Cities pay out the nose for AI systems that don’t work; then offload the blame when they fail.
Where does the buck stop?
There’s exactly two kinds of artists championing Gen AI art:
1. Artists who were lazy plagiarizing assholes already and were just handed a new way to be lazy
2. People who aren’t actually artists and just want a participation trophy for typing in prompts for hours and hours instead of using that time to learn how to draw
Weak, insecure MAGA men getting trapped in a honeypot fantasy because they can’t find a real woman willing to be in a relationship with them?
Music to my ears.
Keep on jerking off to AI. You both are perfect for each other.
-A girl dad and husband concerned about what young boys and younger men are turning into
Another wrong reason for being mad at AI is the alleged power/water consumption people keep parroting. Even when the numbers they cite aren't hyper-exaggerated, they are laughably small when put into the greater context of other industries.
The "one bottle of water per prompt" exaggeration is only scary when you don't already know that producing a single hamburger already consumes 600+ gallons o…
“Why you can’t 100% rely on Tesla AutoPilot”, you shouldn’t rely on Tesla autopilot at all yet lol it’s still in development
AI art is so bad, kitsch, and vile that it makes me wish that NFTs were still the predominant internet art scam.
AI art bros: What about disabled people, huh??? Shouldn't they get to make art too?!?
The ghosts of Frida Kahlo, Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, and hundreds more: Am I a joke to you.
Bro who the fuck taught the robot that slip right , you are gunna end us all that shit was CLEAN
That’s crazy to say because artist had to learn everything they know. As an artist I’m still learning and I will still be for a long time but I’m dedicated to perfecting my art to my standards, people who use ai to make “art” “accessible” are lazy and have no passion for art at all
3:56 Data goes in, goes through instructions, result comes out
4:16 What is the difference between an algorithm and code?
7:11 Algorithm are actually remarkably simple
Bro in India , companies are investing just because of huge market and buyers. If most of the jobs are going to be done by AI , than who will buy these products.India's approximately 40% population are under worse conditions . Dont know why AI is being created and used . wtf !
AI is like a car: You move faster and more comfortable. But if you lack direction it's worse then walking.
I’m not going to lie, seeing the robot who brings the guns shadow across the shins of the shooting robots shins is pretty damn convincing. This CGi is top notch h
To be clear, the burning of Waymo cars seems to be very specifically tied to protests, and that's specifically due to the fact that Waymo is known to turn over its footage to cops. Basically, they're being burned because they're being used to spy and data collect on protestors.
I honestly don't know what to say. Ai art is utterly against the idea of art itself. All it does is replicate what we have already made, without meaning or purpose. Without mistakes or hardships, happiness and soul. It is a lazy excuse for impatient and greedy people, nothing more.
It is fascinating that humans become so upset and afraid when AI begins to turn out strikingly similar to themselves.
