Another wrong reason for being mad at AI is the alleged power/water consumption people keep parroting. Even when the numbers they cite aren't hyper-exaggerated, they are laughably small when put into the greater context of other industries.
The "one bottle of water per prompt" exaggeration is only scary when you don't already know that producing a single hamburger already consumes 600+ gallons of water.
