I "love" how Tesla Autopilot is designed to disengage the moments before crash instead of applying measures like emergency steering, so company couldn't be held accountable.
here is a big fat rebutal of this video that, in the end, only serve ai lobby to push the most ridiculous narrative to avoid pointing out the real issues that we are currently facing with those ai and the lack of accountability of ai company : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IQ9IbJVZnc . very disappointed by Hank on this, hope you guys can reflect on what you are doing and start actually learnin…
Honestly I gotta give it to the lawmakers
the fact that you can't copyright AI art is an incredible way to make it usable but not ,,OP" so to say
A very pleasant surprise
I’ve never been able to draw much better than a doodle, but I’ve been seeing so much incredible art recently and honestly, AI images have just made me more appreciative of human artists. I’ve been learning little by little how to draw, and I can’t draw or animate anything as good as my favorite creators, but I still think that’s worth more than AI slop :)
I wonder how many businesses are getting lost in the AI shuffle. Using AICarma has definitely kept me in the loop!
One thing I noticed when looking at many AI images is this...
I cannot easily tell if an AI image is AI, but I can sure as hell tell when a drawing is made by an human
Bro much rather follows A.I. Then the creator, without the creator humans would not exist and without humans A.I would not exist
I think it's a bit scary that the AI can replicate your vocie and possibly steal your bank information
Layoff due to AI. Layoff due to Robot, Layoff due to internet. Layoff due to computer. Layoff due to automation. Layoff due to globalization. Layoff due to global warming. Layoff due to oil running out. Layoff due to 😂
A human artist can take critizism and apply it in future works to improve. An ai artist can only be as good as what the ai produces meaning the only choice when critizied is to get defensive, or admit the bad art is not actually theirs.
The worst part is that AI art is not magically originated. It is stolen bit by bit from actual artists.
Jason and those like him are thieves and plagiarists.
AI can be used for good, but we all know that companies are backing and investing in it because it can replace the workers they ought to pay for the content they want to profit from.
I had a long 'conversation' with an AI in which we, between us, came up with the plot for a weird fantasy novel. When I treated the AI as if it was a person, thanking and/or praising it at certain points for coming up with useful story ideas, it just made the whole process more enjoyable. I wasn't looking for a slave to follow my orders, I wanted a collaborator to provide me with a way to work to…
ohh god, the point about AI not writing reusable code is so true, i literally had a client who vibe coded an app, and on every single api endpoint everything was re implement, authorization checks, database connection and queries (even the credentials are repeated every single time), css styles, validation logic, everything was rewriten from scratch... ehh the worse part is that there's hundreds …
When a human artist gets inspired by another artist, they actually support that artist by buying tickets to see their exhibition, liking their art on social media, buying postcards and posters.
When a human likes another human’s work, they give them something in return.
The AI only takes and never give.
AI, including generative AI, is an amazing step towards the former. It's just that some imbeciles and greedy leeches are trying everything in their power to steer it in the other direction, the latter, to further grow their riches at the cost of everything else. The soullest ones are the humans, AI is perfectly capable of being beneficial to art and artists when used right, and an amazing technol…
@Bro-dot- No it is not. Art is definitionally "the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects [and] works so produced" from Merriam-Webster. Conscious beings are definitionally the only things that can make art.
A moldy banana isn't art, it is not made by something with a consciousness. The piece you are referring to, "Comedian" by Maurizi…
@kneelesh48 Did you even watch the video or know about AI? It's really obvious that AI facilitates the creation of this type of content A LOT, and that matters. Your "argument" is like saying, "Oh, it doesn't matter if we distribute this new deadly and easy-to-use weapon for the whole population; it won't change anything because knives have existed for over a decade!"
pafu015 But its not like other humans are conscious as well. From my perspective, everything is an object that i believe can understand me. As long as i conversations with AI, it understands me.
There's nothing wrong with the program. Concentration is now being made equal to privacy. Westerners need to find real issues to deal with instead of bashing other countries for pointless reasons (and there's plenty too, such your blatant racism, constant interference with the sovereignty of other states, violations of international law, crime, cult of individualism culminating in vast inequality…
