The fact that people think that you can just use an AI to call yourself something is crazy. They are real attitude for work and there are these people who use AI sometimes won’t even turn out good

What scares me most, as an artist in training who wants to work in the realm of animation, that in the near future AI, no matter the quality of the result, will be used instead of artists for paid work. I already know of at least three music videos by big musical artists that use AI for their visuals, all of them look horrible.

Thanks for this video, shun. It's really upsetting, seeing AI stuff drown out human creations in all the recommendation algorithms. Another AI trend I don't understand is language learning apps. Surely the two reasons you would want to learn a new language are either 1. communicating with other human beings, or 2. enjoying art you connect with. How replacing all the writers on your team with AI i…

CEOs should be the ones replaced by AI. They are literally the most costly position (along with all the executive ones) in a company while providing no benefit to keeping the company sustainable long term. Either we replace CEOs with AI or do it the Luigi way. Both work. CEOs are utterly obsolete and create nothing.

Hegseth is totally nuts! There's no way AI should be allowed anywhere near any of our defense weapons.

And the scariest thing about this like obviously the saddest thing is that someone died but the scariest thing is that this AI company that clearly fucking killed someone when trying to speak out against the the safety problems and the fact that they stole a bunch of information this AI company killed someone to keep that hidden and now the same AI company has been contracted with by the Pentagon…

Juries falsely convict a certain % of time. Algorithms falsely convict a certain % of time. Shouldn't you choose the method that falsely convicts less frequently? Or is there something fundamentally important about having people make the decision, even though they falsely convict more often? I don't know the answer, but it's not a cut-and-dry issue, IMO. **Whatever the case, I think any algorit…

@nathanscandella6075 Two human eyes and the human brain are far superior to 8 cameras and the Tesla AI. The problem is the Tesla machine learning systems can't model for any and every potential situation. While the human mind can know a truck on its side is a threat and one should brake, the Tesla didn't know that and there are a million other scenarios that a Tesla won't ever be able to understa…

He understands it better than these two lawyers did. As a hobbyist programmer I knew where this was going from the very start, I use ChatGPT to help me learn and write code, I ask it how to perform a specific action in Python and it tells me the answer, but I am always double checking it just to make sure it's not bullshitting me, I simply do not trust it since I know it's just predicting text. …

I laugh whenever an abusive company accuses their quitting employees as "childish", "unprofessional", or "emotional". Why on earth would I reward bad companies with my continual service? What incentives would I create for companies if I stick around regardless of treatment? It absolutely is a sane, responsible, business decision to walk away from raw deals. Hell, for a free market to work as …

You know, I always wonder why China goes out of it's way to always pick the authoritarian solution with worst PR. I mean, if I wanted to censor news and opinions I would just create super-popular news platform with *personalized feed* so people can browse their favorite cat news and articles written by others that think like them. Then when shit happens I can just lower the priority of such new…

you also missed the fact that manufacturing countries such as China are polluting to produce goods used by the rest of the world (most rich countries). Most of the pollution is actually caused by those countries, not China.

I agree with you and think all of the counter arguments you outlined were excellent. Disturbing: "Girls will dress sexy to get good grades from male teachers." I might ask follow ups to that to put the responsibility on the school such as Have there been problems with teachers molesting students at this school? If so, how were those issues addressed? Are there any teachers currently at this sch…

This right here... If you run into obstinate AI ignorance you need to speak a language they DO understand: media and lawsuits. Once you actually take the first step (call the local news reporters/get your attorney to send a letter), they'll fold.
