You can’t unopen the box. Whoever masters AI will be the next superpower, no country will ever give that up over some protests. It’s here, it’s not stopping. Hedge your bets and your skillsets
Guess what, Americans already have a surveillance state AND they'll lose the AI race (if they haven't already). China uses AI in scientific and industrial contexts to achieve real productivity gains; America seems to use AI exclusively to destroy people's brains.
WHEN A DRIVERLESS TRUCK IS THE CAUSE OF A ACCIDENT WITH A FATALITY , THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY SHOULD BE PUT IN PRISON
that’s a hot topic. if you just wanna see if your text still shows ai patterns, Winston AI can help check it for you
Honestly, I wouldn't copy ai art because you are just copying thousands of different artist's art. I think it's the same as or even worse than copying others art and not giving credit. Pls don't hate me for saying this, I'm just voicing out my opinion. I think you are a good person with good intentions but I don't really recommend this🤔🤔🤔
I saw a ceo or someone on IG post something profound about AI. AI allows people of wealth and privilege to access skill without paying for it, while simultaneously denying the people of skill access to wealth.
Everybody is missing the key point that for any kind of art to be called that, weather it's painting, digital drawing, poetry, music, literature, sculpture, there has to be a though behind it. A desire to express oneself, emotions, years of lived experience that brought an artist to the point of viewing the world in a certain way. Emotions, thoughts, desires, urges, ethics, wonders, dreams, pain.…
AI is literally just pattern recognition. If you don’t like the patterns that they are recognizing, consider the origin of those patterns.
Asking a robot to make your art and saying you used skill to do it is like asking someone to do a favor for you and being proud of yourself for how well you told them to do it when they’re done
I respect brave souls that take the right side of history. Respect to people from all backgrounds, nationalities, and religions who have self-respect and respect for humanity and stands for the right cause.
Blumenthal has conducted one of most influential and professional hearing I've seen in years. Looking forward to AI hearings, hopefully with ideas for regulation, this summer. Excellent witnesses IBM, OpenAI and NYU AI expert.🤓
I blame our government for failing to implement measures that protect citizens from exploitation by foreign companies!
we are never going to be doomed. even if the industry cops out and only uses ai from here on out, people will make their own animations and release them independently, like the multiple yt animated shows going on rn. there will never be a world where all art is ai generated, because humans always have and always will create
As a non-believer in the AI hype, I think that the issue actually is sci-fi. The problem is that I do not really like the anthromorphization: claiming that the problem is "superintelligence" suggests that we'll have to deal with a sentient artificial being that might have some actual intent to harm humanity. As of now, that is sci-fi and that is that. On the other hand, the fact that an AI may mi…
@tomfullery9710 love the honesty. As an artist, I don't need my art to make money for it to have immense value to me. I did recently sell a piece for the first time, but it's just extra income. True art doesn't need to be paid to have value, true artists will be creating regardless of how good AI gets.
For those new to learning programming. Do not use AI that 1st six months. You rob yourself of developing critical thinking muscles.
Even after I'd avoid using AI cause its so easy to fck up your thinking muscles. Thats likely what happened to the guy in this video.
Sam Altman in 2015: "Superhuman machine intelligence is probably the greatest threat to the continued existence of humanity."
Sam Altman in 2024, when asked about the existential threats posed by superintelligent AI systems: "I have faith that researchers will figure out to avoid that."
Hi Professor Hawking,
I'm not a scientist so I'm not sure if I can think of a scientific question that would do you justice.
Instead can I ask, what inspires you? What goals or dreams do you have for yourself or humanity as a whole?
It's also been noted that Volvo's original emergency braking software had been disabled, it detected the pedestrian and Volvo claimed that it would've been able to slow down to ~10mph before the impact.

Isn't some of the mass surveillance already illegal? (Not that that stops the deepest darkest side of uncle sam.)
