It took me over 7 years to be even somewhat confident in both drawing and writing (both art in my eyes), and I'm STILL learning. We put in effort, AI doesn't
Breaking Points need to investigate the claim that corporations are not really replacing workers due to AI (because AI is really untrustworthy and thus not really usable), but they are actually just downsizing and outsourcing white collar jobs to cheaper labor foreign countries such India, Poland, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc. This is due to Covid era connectivity built out that makes outsourcing whit…
I don't want to see ANY new AI companies created nor do I want ANY of the current ones to succeed.
i literally just gave my friend my phone and he opened up character ai...he will be missed
This is super interesting but I would be curious to know how the “automated bots” were programmed to identify and interact with certain types of content. I’d imagine that if these bots were only looking at hashtags for example to identify a specific kind of content, this could bias the results.
People seem to be noticing how nicely the professor can write backwards...
Fun fact: That's a camera trick!

She is actually writing normally, (So the original video shows the text backwards) but then in editing, the video was flipped again, making the text appear normal. Notice that she is writing with her left hand, which should only be a 10% cha…
No doubt jeff is the richest person. He understood the internet when it came, he understood cloud when it came and hw understood AI when it started to boom
Just wow. How much automation and still it employs a lot of people...
Just imagine how many people and their brains were required to create all of this. Aws,this fulfilment center.
Amazing
AI is a damn scam for corporations to inflate valuations and for billionaires to keep on making fake wealth that they use to secure tax free loans that they use to buy up everything at multiple times the asking price.
It is not capitalism, it is far worse. It is Orwellian feudalism.
This whole deal happened before in the 60's. It was called the Eliza effect.Eliza was an early proto chat bot that simulated conversation. People thought they were having a relationship with a literal spreadsheet.
Surprised that no one here is addressing the massive ecological costs of AI—its energy demand, resource extraction, and e‑waste—which are already accelerating climate impacts. Framing AI as a simple “horses to cars” style transition ignores the very real difference: our planet’s ecological limits. Technosolutionism assumes society can always adapt, but oversimplifying like this risks greenwashing…
I rode a Waymo in LA with no problem, got me from Venice Beach to Inglewood in less than 10min
Don't blame AI. It is the fact that they emulate humans and humans are capable of such corporate greed and careless atrocities that is the problem. Want to end the threat of AI? Change or adapt human nature. Start caring about every person, and making every person important and necessary.
AI powered customer care.. is the worst thing that ever happened... everytime you need help.... AI customer care has never gonna help me out to solve my issue.. Uber, Swiggy, Jio, Amazon... I had to talk with a real person to solve my issue... so yes this chatbot stuff is utter BS
Hating on someone who calls pretends AI artwork is their own is fair. But good lord, hating on someone who actively admits to making AI content in their bio whilst in no way claiming that it’s real, is absurd and shows everything wrong with the online art community.
@Cubicflowit is making collage tho, because thats what machine learning is - slapping pixels at the wall till desirable result (by the opinion of the prompter) is achieved, taken from someone else's (in most cases unethically sourced) art.
@HearToneSpeakIf that’s the case then Tesla deserves to be sued for false advertisement when they constantly express how autopilot is a early version of Self-Driving versus Cruise Control
I wish we could compile all the truly thoughtful and cited comments like this one, and put them in somewhere everyone could see.
Hundreds of people die every day from car accidents and nobody bats an eye but if a self driving vehicle is 99% safer but kills 1 person it’s an abomination. Humans are dumb.
To be fair, breaking hard in front of the cars is giving the cars valuable training data making the self driving cars better.
I know that’s not his intention, but still google would like that
Ford's response honestly shocked me. He has referred to himself as Trump's biggest fan, but his response to this pandemic has been the polar opposite of Trump's.
