Everybody is missing the key point that for any kind of art to be called that, weather it's painting, digital drawing, poetry, music, literature, sculpture, there has to be a though behind it. A desire to express oneself, emotions, years of lived experience that brought an artist to the point of viewing the world in a certain way. Emotions, thoughts, desires, urges, ethics, wonders, dreams, pain. A machine isn't capable to possess any of these essential qualities necessary to produce art. AI art isn't art, and it shouldn't be called that. It's just a factory that produces illustrations based on the stolen work of thousands of real, human artists, and patches them together to create the freaky Frankenstein's monsters that people dare to call art pieces. The day we replace the human soul with machines, is going to be the day humanity will be lost forever.
