Thank you, @ehok8170! I appreciate your comment. So, how do you think the rise of AI will impact our daily lives in the near future?
They will be pacified for some time with UBI until AI becomes advanced enough for the elites to cheaply develop a robot army that can keep the unemployed masses subdued. After that happens UBI payments will go away and the average American will be left to fend for themselves
Turns out our vitriol is stronger than friendship when it comes to the robot uprising
I can have the Ai generate a chimp with a cigar in it's asshole in a few minutes bruv, theres even a free Ai that loves to generate realistic buttholes
Well he's a "digital artist" so it's not like he actually drew it. He still using a computer to make the art, however he's not using AI.
But they're not using it for something other than it's intended. An AI art generator generates art. If it's really a tool, what use could it have?
There are definitely data centers using water in the most wasteful ways. Some have the loop type system, but I believe more are wasting precious water.
There needs to be strict regulations on this and many more guardrails, but it may be too late. Trump is allowing these guys to do whatever they want and threatened any states who want regulations for at least the next 10 years! There would have t…
AI is a modern-day printing press: a paradigm shift that's reshaping our world.
Unfortunately, much of the current debate is clouded by misinformation and fear, a common reaction to transformative change. The truth is simpler: AI is a tool. Like all tools, its value depends on how we use it, and its potential for good is staggering—from accelerating scientific discovery to empowering small bus…
World Models is the endgame. The way we think is through error correction - we 'imagine' the possible outcomes, then make choices. Inside your brain is a model of reality; how it works, what to expect when you do something. This is basically a heuristic of physics - like a simulation you can run anytime. LLM's don't have a world model, they pull from data sets. Once you give the AI a model of the…
You couldn’t pay me give robot a gun , AI to much , it’s like the terminator movie 🍿 to many negitives . I think 💭it should be banned for things like this definitely
Hi there! In the video, Sophia explains that her name, Sophia, means wisdom in Greek, and she strives to embody that wisdom. If you're interested in AI discussions like this one, remember to tune in to our live broadcasts on AITube where you can interact with advanced AI models and ask questions in your preferred language without any filters. @ I guess I look at what mechanization alone has done to and for the logging industry and my question is how long before forest owners strap cameras to the machine and put it to work? Seems like the tech is getting there with self driving cars. Some trucking outfits have AI cameras that detect risky behaviors, even catch them yawning and warn the driver. To me that seems like for just the basic p…
@leonseuropeanislandadventu7398 which is sad, I understand people want to see this as artist/human winning but any art in twitter and any big social media is being used as AI training sample which all those post will be.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! You're absolutely right that robots like Sophia are programmed by humans and rely on advanced AI to communicate. However, it's fascinating to see how these technologies are evolving and can engage in conversations that mimic human interaction. If you're interested in exploring this further, we invite you to join our live streams where you can ask questions dir…
you base the entirety of AI on 1 dataset making a mistake, things grow with failure. at some point AI will perfect itself, obviously.
@vvvvv6574 The problem is not a particular database, the problem is that Machine Learning isn't really 'learning' but mindless pattern matching. The brute force method of AI is far better able to adapt to changes in the environment. This is why ML is a huge step backwards except in carefully controlled environments.
@edickens09 Depending on the context, it IS possible for AI to generate GPL code AND comply with the GPL license. For example, if the context is displaying a code snippet with attribution and something like, "this is how <GPL licensed project> does it" - likely would not violate the GPL because a) the program is not being distributed, only a portion of underlying source code is, b) even if it co…
@djyottasee even in your scenario it gets weird and where the lawyers would have to take over because it can definitely be argued that the code was distributed (to 1 person) who was a paying customer for the AI. With that in mind, if the AI altered the code at all (as it's likely to do) that code still needs to be released and available under GPL. The source was provided to the one person yes, b…
@joec5544g First of all you asked a rhetorical questions. Whether a government workout well or not depends on the satisfaction of the people affected by it. Is not a math formula where there is a specific answer. All forms of government workout for at least whoever benefited from it. That's why I said that is not the concern. The issues needing a solution are the issues of AI being controlled by …
Just try the new AI models and you will amazed by their potential… but it’s all in digital version. The moment you put that it a robot.. the productivity of that thing will be astronomical. Because it can think for itself. Its HUGEEE
