It kind of does, thanks to its nature as a replacement, and as programs that hurt the original artists.

This claim is both false, and debunked.
It has been proven for months that LLMs can copy entire chapters from books, and that the image generators can copy existing images to near perfection.
And even if it did not, it would still be a fundamentally parasitic technology, that goes against the spirit of all intelectual property laws.
