"Soulless" isn't really the right way to phrase it anyway. "Mindless" is far more accurate. AI can't think. It runs on computers, so it can do mathematics, but it can't do anything that can't be broken down into mathematics. And since the creative thought that goes into creating artwork can't be broken down into mathematics, AI is incapable of it, therefore, AI generated content is mindless.
