AI Art doesn't have to be Theft, all it has to do is be gathered with pure consent and with pure intent.
Which is a shame because it can be a tool to help people with aspects of art they dislike letting them focus on what they like. As a person who doesn't use AI art I love the drawing process up to adding color and shading just because it offers diminishing returns in most cases.
Till that time comes where people give their honest straight pure consent and with straight pure intent though I refuse to use AI to assist with my drawings because I don't want to steal from people who were stolen from already.
