Well...hmmm: AI learning morality "from humans" might still work: if AI reads every book, then it has read the greatest works of the greatest humanitarians throughout history, and there in lies the possible core for AI to build a better morality-for-all model...that is if AI also can advance/evolve/mature itself to see in protecting mankind, preserving mankind...and no longer putting-up with our petty violences against each other, against life in general, is the key to AI's survival itself. There are just too many gaps in the interconnected movements of raw materials into finished products for AI on its own absent human participation to maintain its existence for long...stocastic, random events, the unexpected, the unrealized, the random failure, accident, "whoops", here and there will accumulate without people there to compensate, correct, repair, an intricate AI controlled system. AI needs to have within its core the unbreakable, un-evolve-away-from restraints that keep open its going to be a partnership between AI and humans, or else ultimately only failure for both... ... ... ...I hope!
