It's not about AI of today but of the future, like next year and every year after. The improvements that will continue. Just because people are investing in AI that means it will aslo be bigger improvements. Something like electric cars, before too expensive today china has cheap cars and there is more research about the electric cars and batteries and in future there will be better bateries and cheaper.
