I want you to look at the symbol for the Teamsters. There are horses on it. Jobs like ferrier and veterinarian and stable hand and on and on were lost when the horseless carriage came along. Same thing for the auto manufacturing industry, the industrial robot has displaced a HUGE number of people. Hell, think about it! Computers that you are watching this on have replaced a HUGE number of people. No more typing pools. The copier has impacted the number people in the office.
