Spend a few days running stable diffusion locally and the limitations of this technology become apparent. Sorry that your art is being used for training data (impossible to prevent without killing this technology) but there is no one on earth talented enough to champion that cause and build a legal framework protecting illustrators who are currently producing (not always their fault) the most swagless shit imaginable. Artists should be using image generation models to their benefit instead of pretending that if we all join hands mankind will stop the bad "robot consciousness" from putting them out of a job. This thing is sophisticated autocomplete - it is not an intelligence lmao
There is an insurmountable gap between prompting a generative model and producing representations of your own inspired thought, just use the AI and you'll see. You can run stable diffusion locally. You can train your own models.
