This is happening, and there is no way of stopping it.
Best thing is to try and make it a positive AI future and to make sure it happens here in the US and not somewhere else.
Decreasing the workweek hr making humans more expensive and less productive will just increase the stimulus to replace us.
The "robot tax" is not a bad idea, needs to be talked about more, given form and see pros/cons.
Don't agree with artificially increasing workers comp or stake in companies, this usually creates unions and starts the downfall of industries, just see what happened to the US automakers....
