The idea of a Universal Basic Income would also have to be considered... why? because exchanging your labor for income is a FUNDAMENTAL part of the economic system we have in order to buy goods and services.. if you take that income away, who is going to buy your products and services?... no matter how efficient you automated operation is if you have no clients or people that can afford your products and services who are you going to sell them to?... just the elite? the 1%?.. economics of scale will be lost despite of all that automation ..
