My problem with using ai is more so the fact that it's passionless, its bland, its sterile, and you can't really feel any love put into it, a true artist is nothing if not passionate for their craft. When they draw, a part of their identity is put onto the paper, even down to the artstyle. They aren't merely scribbling across a sheet of paper or rubbing a pen across a tablet. They are making a visual expression of their own ideas, thoughts, feelings, *identity.* Ai -art- images have none of that. They're just the result of a program being fed instructions in the form of text and frankensteining a crap ton of images without any understanding of what it's doing. So don't you DARE call yourself an artist until you make the art YOURSELF, no AI, no generator, just you, the canvas and the tool you use to create on it. Until you do so lovingly, you're not an artist.
