I just think the corporations want a worker culture reset and they use AI as a reason to push it. They were so angered when we asked to be treated with more decency, be given wages that help us survive, be given sick days and maternity leave.
They employed AI as a gotcha thing, but it is blowing in their face.
They keep us hanging for a while, until we get desperate. After the storm, they will hire us again for lower wages and more responsibilities. Basically more work, more abuse, less pay, less free time.
