Banks, insurance companies, brokerage houses, governments etc. dumped white collar workers by the millions - clerks, middle managers, accounting personnel, CSRs, ironically computer programmers etc., etc. Here we go again, however, when you leave people without meaningful work, this time there should be a tax that A.I. pays to compensate the permanently unemployed ... for the rest of their lives.
