One of the fun abilities of AI is to create deepfakes of black people and use them to endorse your political message, witnessed it in Australia on a national vote to enshrine an official body to survey the opinions of indigenous people, said deepfake was puppeteered by a European cryptobro to oppose it. Probably wasn't the most impactful weapon in the box, but it played a part.
