Many of the world’s more notable artists faced mental and physical disabilities, such as Frida Kahlo, Francisco Goya, Vincent Van Gogh, Chuck Close, Maud Lewis, Alison Lapper, Judith Scott, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, John Callahan, Edvard Munch, Louis Wain, Bryan Charnley… to only mention a FEW. All of these people either created art as a way to communicate about their experiences, as a means of escapism, influenced by their conditions or not. Honestly, claiming that AI Art is the only means to make art accessible to disabled people is grossly undermining and ableist. If you are unhappy with your level of skill there are plenty of helpful resources available to you such as Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain or Fun with a Pencil.
