Who will build the robots? Robots? One thing is constant. Change. Robotics has been around for awhile. Smart educated people will have a better chance of thriving. Programmers, engineers, skilled labor will still be needed. Will our education system adjust? 100 million jobs lost (?), but they will be replaced somewhere. As long as humans master robotics in farming, services, and manufacturing processes, jobs will be there. Robotics and AI are designed by highly educated humans.
The internet has changed society. Cars, airplanes, telephones, televisions all changed society when they were invented and perfected. The manufacturing process will change, I agree. Smart educated people are needed for a cutting edge work force. I'm not convinced we have the education system to adjust right now. Why isn't this mentioned? Senator Sanders I support you and understand concern, but you have to address changes needed to produce a globally competitive work force.
