me when I read the title:
vox: The most urgent threat of deepfakes isn't politics
me: oh I know vox, I know
A big problem is that people who are not creative will gain false confidence that they are creative because of AI. It will create competition between people who are genuinely creative and good problem solvers vs. people who have zero creativity, who will feel emboldened to propose solutions without actually have any prior knowledge.
Gotta shut this down - if these AI bots were actual people, they would be in jail - THAT IS A FACT
Public figures should trade mark their likeness and sue the hell out of anyone who deep fakes them.
The 2-hour learning block with AI apps sounds like a dream! Been using Olovka for notes and it’s made my study time so productive. Imagine having that in a whole school! 🚀
I'm not an AI expert, but I can imagine nearly infinitely reproducing robots that could do everything we do much more efficiently and decisively, against us. It is absolutely revolutionary technology, but it's not worth it if it can get us all wiped out.
Sorry, but I'm not down for just bending over and taking the oncoming, further, capitalist exploitation, of artists and creators. The best time to preemptively take action against the unregulated proliferation of AI generated art was yesterday, the next best time is now. Being an artist is already hard enough, if these corporations can find some obscure creator that they think is stealing their w…
And yeah ... everyone is rich 😶😑 ....like sireously...there are people in this world ..who open restuarants...shops to earn ...and what ever ...now i have kind of started to hate AI
Atleast he is humble. Not like a evil that people expect AI to be. Even though he know the human is wrong, still he humbly accepts his mistake and apologize.
I can guarantee AI will take over because of this one basic principle shared by all humans: humans do not like each other 😂
Answering an AI Thief with a tutorial on how to draw in your art style is absolutely badass, I respect this SO much
Who is supposed to ask the AI to make an app? Customers? I don't think so.
Des robots je suis d'accord...Mais pourquoi une telle volonté de les faire ressembler aussi parfaitement aux humains...???? 🤔
The best video of somebody ordering from an AI is the one were the guy asks for 18k cups of water at Taco Bell and the AI tries to reply "Okay" but only gets to "Oak" before it sounds like it was garotted and a clearly annoyed employee asks for his order again.
Automation is not the problem, the potential causes of unemployment are the expansion of regulation and debt .
I[m a graphic designer with an art degree and 27 years of experience. Get out now. Change your major. My paycheck has been cut in half over the last year, most of my clients are using chat GPT and canva. I get the occasional “can you fix this AI image” project but its getting more and more rare. Entry level jobs soon wont be a thing anymore in graphic design and those with tons of experience are …
I feel like out of all the arguments, "AI is accessible" is probably the most insulting. Human art can be made with anything. Sand, sticks and mud or more likely- a walmart notebook and a pencil or pen given away. There are artists with no arms painting better landscapes than most can, and art has famously been the comfort of the disabled, both physically and mentally, for centuries. STFU. The o…
I think the biggest problem comes when the question is no longer "is it _right_ to use AI?" but rather "is it _fair_ to not use AI when everyone else is?" Like so many crafts before us (pottery, masonry, weaving, carpentry), AI forces us into a society that will leave us behind if we don't adapt. I imagine being back at university, and while I absolutely loved the experience of researching and w…
I am not a Teacher, but I have worked at the same school for 30 years. The one thing everyone forgets is the human factor, all those children come from different backgrounds, they have different things going on in their lives. ( Weather it is good, or bad. ) They react to the things going on in their lives at the schools, towards their classmates, teachers, staff, buildings. As an example the 20…
So my company has not replaced any job with AI. They have however replaced a lot of people named Joe with a few named Jose in Guatalama and a few here and there in the Philippines and India. And that has been going "great" with time shift and language issues 😂
