@anonanon9119 we're talking abt ai 'art' not beliefs bsfr. The literal defenition of art is something made using human creativity and imagination.

This is what I was thinking! Art doesn’t need to be optimized and removed from human hands, and if they do this to every job then.. WHO WILL HAVE MONEY? If ai does everything than no one has money to spend or gain not even the company’s replacing everyone. No workers no spending no money. Company’s however only think in the moment” OH HOW DO WE CUT COSTS?! AI?! OK” and then boom no workers no cap…

because it inherently has no meaning - in human-made art, every brushstroke, every mark made, every colour selected has a conscious thought behind it that aims to convey the artist’s intent and message. ai images have zero intention - they are a soulless estimation of what a certain image should look like.

Not gonna happen. Trump and his cronies would never allow it. In fact, they've tried to pass laws BANNING _any_ sort of AI regulation at all.

@aeioe Sadly you are so ignorant in Artificial intelligence. When they get bored or sleepy, the teacher will notice it and later find out the root cause for it and solve the problems. (Early stage of sickness, eating unhealthy food etc) . Why you have such dirty soul such that you couldn't see the bright side of artificial intelligence??? AI HAS GREAT USE IN SOCIETY.

heyy with my limited knowledge i'm pretty confident that 'minor characters' (マイナーキャラ) its referring to unpopular/lesser known characters in like games or tv shows, like side characters as you said i feel like it'd make sense too cause with limited input ai would struggle to output, i think lol :3

Our society isn't gonna be made better if we use ai for stuff like this People have jobs for money Money is so that you can feed yourself and live It's also to reward people like farmers who make the food And ALSO it's sad but we need money to buy for food because food is limited What we need is for ai to replace getting food, electricity things like that So that SLOWLY jobs aren't going to b…

if you know how to prompt and check properly, they give 99% good advice on health, are usually even overtuned on the "there is minimal risk, you definitely shouldnt, go look for a doctor" side. a tool is only ever as good as its user. i know in the endstage of AI (aka AGI and ASI) it will be less of a tool and more of a user itself, but right now it does stupid if we do stupid. and it didnt ev…

Sure they can. Well not the robots, but the owners of the robots. It just so happens that the easiest thing to tax in the last 100 years was the employer-employee relationship, and labor income. Because that was a large part of the economy. So all the other forms of taxes are afterthoughts or don't exist, depending on country (corporate taxes, sales tax/VAT, land tax, property tax). But that was…

Yep. I've been working on my software and it's a HEADACHE to depend on AI to write code. I progress so much faster and I know exactly what I did vs having to run through a generated code. It may churn out a working program but you can bet it's patchwork at best and just a ticking timebomb for something horrid happening in runtime.

If we are already in a simulation, why does it matter what we do with AI?

I don't see the doctor's oath thing being supreme. It's an occupation and they have rights as workers, especially if they came there under false premises.

28 million isn't very much, they weren't too invested in it in the first place.

So does the broke guy who can't cook his food now get any of this money? I'm not so sure I like this idea.

The wind turbines dropping off (which they do in major wind) was only responsible for a 25 percent increase in demand from the Victorian grid. Real issue was that they were drawing 50 percent of the interconnector's capacity before the incident. Basically they closed their coal fire stations and basically banked on Victoria's to replace them. Blaming renewables in that case was like a soldier be…

> Retail, digital/IT ,health care, professional services, etc - none of these fall under that category & yet they are the bulk of our economies. But as I point out, they're completely dependent on the primary economies, regardless of their size. When those primary economies fail, there's isn't any wealth to circulate and generate secondary wealth. > The future of energy is cheap, cle…

I travel to Tempe for work once a month and use Über to get around. Not once have I seen a Waymo van do something dangerous or stupid. The über drivers, however, are concerned for their gig.

Riken, a Japanese research institute, also has a [30-minute](https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20200304/p2g/00m/0na/082000c) test for the novel coronavirus. Unfortunately, the Japanese government doesn't seem to be using it at the moment. This seems like a big deal to me. You could potentially screen large numbers of people in real time as they disembark from airplanes, line up for sports eve…
