Future jobs will require combinations of domain knowledge + AI proficiency + adaptability. That’s indeed not something everyone can do, especially on short notice. Many economies still rely on low-skill or semi-skilled labor. If AI eliminates or devalues that work, and there are no public jobs and massive retraining, social unrest becomes very likely. We’ve seen this historically: industrial revo…
@pooroldnostradamus Humans are still harmed. People in America are losing access to water. Electric bills are spiking. There are also Americans who have been screening the really bad stuff from being trained. AI is not magically removing human suffering.
Many people did ask A.I after showing it the company finances and it immediately told them to cut the shares and bonuses for the CEO and they can quickly scale the business with the extra cash.
He’s just enjoying his time in the spotlight. He’s lying about AI’s capabilities so he can get clicks and make some $$
yeah, chatgpt is a glorified predictive text generator, it's never 100% unlike google or other search engines
@Vanarris how does AI takes your skills away??
It's like blaming a person who got inspired from your and hundred of other artists work at the same time and decided to learn the art. AI also took time to analyse all the aspect of drawing and learning to do different things. The only difference is that it can now create art pieces on whim in seconds. But this also comes with cost of AI not unders…
@ste-fa-no do they even need their consent though? as far as i know, using art to train the ai machine is completely legal(not considering the moral aspect)
Well not anymore now that “Mr. Soon-to-Be PHD” has published this on the internet. Congrats on feeding your AI overlords belt ammunition. 😅
yes, he is clearly one of those "experts" on ai completely lacking all of the basics
They more they know about you the easier it is for ai to predict your future behavior. Our google searches, purchases and websites visited are all being stored for future technology to decipher who we are and control us.
He's like.. "Yes, these things are happening, I cannot lie - BUT DON'T SHUT AI DOWN, INVEST MORE. Easy fix."
Yea but the AI doesn't have a conscience. The boundaries set into it are its "conscience". For a person, a persona is just imagining something that their conscience would never let them do. For an AI, a person completely bypasses the conscience. For example, tell a person that their responses are directly connected to a machine that interprets them as commands, and then ask them to respond as a …
this video puts way more emphasis on ai its self than it does on the people making it and those who are responsible for regulating it
@chete013 This is not the way to sell things. I belive 10 to 20% unemployment is actually quite low estimate. I think more than 50% of people will lose jobs 10 years from now because AI will replace them.
As a normal user AI is fine, but as a programmer.. I must really say it really makes you dumb. Takes away your problem solving skill
@SLYKM agreed, I’m not a complete ai hater as they do have their uses in many aspects but it’s more of some certain people using ai art for themselves as money making or using it to feel good about art that really isn’t theirs.
17 years of art? damn. TBH, it feels like they did a massive art theft and they need to be sued for this IMO. Best of luck creating your own website. I removed most of my random doodles and drawings in 2016 because of a incident in 2016 with art thieves being rampant, I happened to have a few drawings on my devianart now and I feel bad that even when my drawings were bad as heck, they were still…
not only that, artists' redraws could actually end up helping ai in improving itself. + the tweets owner is a blue checkmark user, they earn money from engagements on their posts
@emmanueltakow9822literally AI slop for people to complain about AI. This channel is just tryna make money and it’s stealing views off people who actually spend time and care on making videos.
All computer algorithms are biased by design. Humans can't avoid putting our own biases into machines because we ourselves are bias.
AI could very easily develop some extreme, outlandish ideologies... much like us humans.
Maybe an AI will listen to Rocky Racoon by The Beatles and completely misinterpret the meaning of the song by thinking it's racist.
Maybe an AI will watch Infinity War and th…
