We’re all going to be so sick of AI soon. We’ll be trying to avoid it, installing plugins to detect it.
My 2 cents, everyone keeps talking about how AI makes things more productive or cheaper (like radiologists doing more sessions with AI assistance). But that’s not progress, it’s a race to the bottom. When everyone can offer the same service faster and cheaper, price becomes the only differentiator, and value collapses.
Then there’s this idea that AI will “remove mundane work” so humans can focus…
I've been a professional software engineer for over two decades now. Everyone's been telling me AI will eliminate my job; I know it won't because it just produces more stupid people. My job is safer then ever :)
A primary care physician seeing 60-70 patients per day is not the goal. That is ~5 minutes per patient. The goal is to use AI to enable more time for in-depth converstations with existing patient load. Optimizing for the wrong thing here.
SO sad... I've lived through a LOT of jobs being replaced, and ppl from the generation that created that thing saying "no... that'll never happen" and then it does. As a software engineer and a person who's gone to school 6yrs for art, NEITHER of my long honed skills are useful now. AI is doing them already. Do you REALLY think it can't Creative Direct? Order coffee? Move documents around the off…
A rogue AI bothers me less than humans using AI for power. We humans are notoriously accepting of the suffering of our fellow humans.
that final line "make sure to leave your opinion on surveillance capitalism in the comments below" is incredibly poignant
Haven't met many humans who fit my description of conscious so I'm not particularly worried about AI. Seriously.
It's wild how AI is changing everything! We've adopted Pneumatic Workflow to avoid the 'enterprise bloat' and stay nimble.
Anything AI generated should be public domain or copyright free. There’s nothing wrong with experimenting with it for personal use or for fun (except when you take into account doing so is teaching the AI to get better). But the problem is when it steals other artist’s styles that they spent years working on. AND this person shouldn’t have the right to sell their AI “art” cause they didn’t make i…
I actually use character ai, so this is terrifying. By some miracle, I haven't gotten addicted to it. I found a zombie apocalypse bot that I really like, but I've made up my own character instead of playing as myself, and I just use it as a way to write fun stories when I feel like it, but that's literally it
I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible tutorial you shared on GPT-3 during your recent YouTube video. It was an absolute delight to watch, and I found it both informative and engaging.
Your presentation style is top-notch, making the complex concepts of GPT-3 feel accessible and understandable. I appreciate how you broke down the technology into manageable, eas…
Ai isn't scary, elites who desire profit and control over human flourishing are scary , ai is simply a mirror , the "scary ai" is just scary developers and owners
as a welder ive been also working with robots, i can tell you: some welding jobs can be automated, some simply cant be..
probably same with this. some routes probably can be automated, some cant. i sure hope the best for all drivers cause the world spins because of you.
The major thing is to use AI for diagnostics, where human doctors would never look, and way earlier when human doctors would ever look!
Considering ChatGPT helped me make an awesome resume from scratch in a stressful point of my career and while Meta, Google were showing me ads of non-relevant stuff instead of pointing me in a better direction
The fact that people so blindly believe chatGPT actually scares me. Don't be scared of the AI be scared of people😒
About a year ago, Saagar said AI will improve productivity and will not cause losses of jobs. Now he is raising the alarm. Right wingers are wrong about everything and don’t even acknowledge their past positions.
I feel like people should calm down and inspect the situation a bit more. From what I see in the post, it’s a random post for job openings and not a offical advertisement for the game itself. The person who posted it probably isn’t an artist themselves so just decided to use Ai to make up for it. Because they thought it would make the post less bland and attract artist for hire. Hoyoverse takes p…
My 15 yo spent his entire sophomore year of high school engaging with various AI companions. During the summer, he really engaged with it a lot less, but he says he likes it because he doesn't have friends and he's disabled so it's difficult for him to make friends due to communication problems. He's in regular public school special education. He has talking group in school, but he really keeps t…
