In Illinois, yes it is illegal. You must obtain written consent to use a person’s biometric data. Facebook just faced a class action lawsuit over this. https://www.facebookbipaclassaction.com/
I’ve been building websites as a novice all my life. ChatGPT is helping me learn more and overcome obstacles faster. It still takes work. But just last night I was able to build something I have envisioned for years and hit obstacles when I tried to complete it myself. With AI, I solved my issues and built a working version in about a month of learning and experimenting. I think I’ve learned a lo…
A.I. regulation by the government who has no clue about A.I. is a bad idea imo. Regulating A.I. will slow down progress, and our enemies like China wont be abiding by the same training wheels. They probably and already have surpassed us. I might be wrong but that's my opinion.
ChatGPT Engineers are probably in a room right now figuring out how many men they can jack off in an hour.
The article says "her face superimposed on adult actors". This doesn't even sound like AI, just photoshop.
Too bad they can’t build something that runs on Cheetos and Pepsi like the human brain does.
I'm someone who doesn't suck at dating and is currently in a very loving and fulfilling relationship, but I can answer this one for you partly. My previous long term relationship with my ex-husband ended badly. He did something horrible that affected not only me, but my family members. This, despite that he was beloved by everyone in the family, best friends with my brothers, appreciated and appr…
Can confirm. Couldn’t afford legal ketamine prescription I was offered and talked to AI instead of
Two things.
One, GenX and Millenials are going to stay in the work force a long time. Most are paycheck to paycheck and are unprepared financially for retirement. Especially if we dismantle Medicare and Social Security. So your “masters” will be here for at least another 30-40 years, working into their 80s as they are slowly replaced by AI. By then we should be at AGI where any human is a drag …
Don't refuse to do AI interviews, do them, but make up a bunch of random nonsense shit instead.
"What makes you feel you're qualified to work as a systems engineer?"
"Well I have 420 PHD's in systems engineering and 69000 years experience"
4 interviews in and 5 hours of effort; sorry you dont qualify for this survey
Wait i was job interviewing. Oh wait, you are the product. They are selling all this data to the AI money launderers.
Well they didn't entirely nail it. Yes the naming scheme changes are a "*product design and UX decision*", but the loss of access to model like o3, 4.5 etc are also financial decisions. OpenAI is losing a ton of money, and $20/mo did not cover the compute costs for the usage limits on those models.
If it were only a product decision, they'd have the "enable legacy models" toggle buried in the se…
Like many people I am being aggressively pushed to integrate AI into my workflows. Co-Pilot is worse than useless but other tools are exactly that, tools. You still need to know “ok, this is a cool shell of code but I need to weed out all of the bullshit.”
I read there was renovations going on in/near the Lincoln Bedroom, this window was near and the bags were most likely demolition materials.
Of course Trump's AI explanation puts even that in doubt now.
Please don’t take away 4o. I don’t want another model that mimics 4o. I want the real deal and I’m sure many fans of 4o feel the same way. GPT-5 could pretend that it was 4o, but you can tell that it is pretending.
The whole idea of the singularity is that we don't know what is on the other side.
The way america views the people, vs say, india, or china or the EU.... that will change how the average person sees what a job is and how AGI will change that job.
After all, we don't have to use AI. We don't have to pay for it. Sure, it may be cheaper and better, but sometimes we pay more for a worse service. J…
So the current administration is working on a mass surveillance program, and RoboCop. Anthropic knows the next step- the part where they get torched and thrown under the bus when it all goes haywire. They're certainly not benevolent, but they are smart.
the software should have stated that it was a very low confidence match, or outright said there is not enough available input data to accurately match someone...
this is the problem with all current ai shit, it will hallucinate even a suspect for you
but it's not like human witnesses are much better, but that's an other topic...
Excuse me sir , wtf do you mean. Oh man I am so cooked when AI takes over.
Gee I wonder why she's polling 30 points behind a guy who had a Nazi tattoo
