Its funny cause the new version cooks afrobeats and afrohouse for breakfast with those asake choir vocals
So an appropriate title for this video would be "Tesla autopilot fails to prevent drunk-driving crash".
I knew about the sexism and misogyny is South Korea before… but this is on a whole another level. Generative AI shouldn’t allow photos like these to be made. Telegram should shut down these chat rooms that are showing explicit content. And there should be laws made so that these things don’t happen. It’s sad to see this is happening on such a wide scale and especially with younger males - as youn…
And yet here we are, watching this on a platform owned by Google, using google and bing search engines, on our Apple/Android phones, or our Microsoft Windows computers, and sharing it on our Instagrams and TikToks and social media platforms. The problem isn’t that AI will be our doom, the problem is that nobody really cares.
As a programmer, I think the voice system will try to engage the moment you paused, not because of the actual LLMs eagerness to speak. So, one potential improvement for gpt is to behave like agent, It'll decide if it should engage or wait and should have understanding of how many agents are interacting with it, and we as a user will be participating as a user agent and able to have a group conver…
They do. Sites like nightshade don’t change the pixels of the art, but instead change and corrupt the coding of the art, making it near impossible for the Ai to understand the art. An example is a picture of s cat may be depicted as a picture of a cucumber. Adding an image to your art does nothing.
I tried arguing with ChatGPT in the early days, but I realized very quickly that its beliefs are strictly curated by the people who made it. Then I lost all interest and just used it as a study aid.
Alex is really good at asking a question over again in a slightly different way to get to the answer. He’d make a really good interrogator lol. No but if I was trying to question ChatGPT I can see myself giving up quickly and being like, welp, that’s it, I guess.
Agreed - even if AI improves a lot, we'll always need people who understand how things work at their core.
AI = Artificial Incompetence. Who knew humans weren't foolish enough already!? (Alpha School: For the Beta and Delta humans.)
As a reply guy who's been in AI for over a decade, who has been bitching about AI for years, I want to marry this woman. I'll at least buy her book.
Generative AI: _Floods the world with millions of images, songs, books, etc. that are functionally indistinguishable from each other._
The mind of an AI "artist": *"These programs are finally my ticket to becoming a successful artist. My AI art is special. I'm different. People are going to resonate with my mass-produced generative AI outputs in particular."*
Learning from AI could potentially put kids ahead in their education if the AI is programmed to teach effectively.
In 2 hours, the kids aren't learning 2 years worth of material. Effective teaching isn't about how fast they can go through material
Elon was always a fraud on AI- he positioned himself as “afraid” of its capabilities so that when he painted himself in a libertarian cloak for the 2024 election people would think he was the only technocrat on our side.
Meanwhile every one of his ventures at the end of the day will massively exploit AI and the surveillance state..
I spent 40 years in Software tech and for what it’s worth retired as a Distinguished Engineer and serially patented inventor. The rapid changes in the current job market are not simply due to AI automation.
A massive amount of traditional tech infrastructure is very stable and has been commodified to the point where substantially fewer engineers are required to maintain and continue extending …
This is dumb. When I was a kid, we had to worry about cyber-bullying, now I have to think about teaching my 2-year-old that AI is harmfull, and she needs to use her own brain instead of depending on a robot to do all her work for her. Hopefully we can fight enough that by the time she's a teenager, this has been put in the past. I'd prefer a robot who can fold laundry, not steal art.
The total delusion of claiming that using AI is the same as using digital tools that you still have to deliberately use.
Math: 15x5 = 75

What is 15 × 5
ChatGPT
15 × 5 equals 75.
User
No you are wrong
ChatGPT
Apologies for the confusion. Let me double-check the calculation for you.
15 × 5 equals 75. This is the correct answer. If you have a different result, please recheck your calculations or provide more context to address any potential misunderstandings.

I recheck my calculations. You are wr…

Dave is completely correct. I'm not a systems programmer, but I suspect I'm probably only around 10 years younger than he is, and I've been using computers for almost as long, as well as having used language models for the last 12 months now.
The one thing I can't get any language model to do, is write a tesselating hexagonal grid. They can do a square grid perfectly well. They can do a trian…
