I worked for Honda and we had a robot arm malfunction to the point the arm broke right through the metal gate and thank God my friend moved out of the way or she would of been dead
Robots with artificial intelligence already walk among us and have done so all throughout human history. They are called psychopaths.
This is the first good argument I've ever seen someone make about AI from the perspective of "doing everything that conscious beings should do isn't enough to be conscious". I do think one interesting topic is in more recent years, there's been a shift going AWAY from AI with utility functions. Newer strategies of training are completely unguided, and they're the ONLY strategies to produce these …
A thing about AI artists that i atleast interacted with is that they are really full of themselves.
Like wow if i had a nickle for every time i got blocked by an AI "artist" that had something something art master in their username for writing "i can also write prompts does that also make me an art master?" I had 2 nickles which isn't alot bu- this joke is so overused
This video stood as the first footage that recorded the rise of the machines... "Handing out a machine gun to a robot" nice!
Our AI technology will work and be safe. Okay, let’s vote... Whoops, our voting technology broke. 😅
When people can't behave, the toys need to be taken away, especially when they can use AI to create false images and propaganda.
Soooo WRONG! - This Is A White-Collar Entry Level WIPEOUT!! - As a programmer any code I would give to a Jr. for practice. I can INSTANTLY get from an AI. Most times I still have to fix the code but I'd have to do that anyway with a Jr. Difference is instead of waiting hours for the Jr to return buggy code i get DAMN GOOD CODE Instantly From a LLM (and Claude is surprisingly good - sometimes just…
0:17 I've been following the advice of the AI overlords. My life has drastically changed since I've started eating rocks and smoking cigarettes every day.
Relax guys that robot doesn't even work without wifi😂😂😂
Edit:- i think I am celebrity now 😼
I find it incredibly worrying how much humanising language is being used for ai here while also not touching upon how the turing test tells us more about humans than it does AI.
On the example of humor, we cannot meaningfully differentiate between what is an actual application of humor and what is a reconstructed regurgitation of a joke a person has made.
Since she’s the first robot to be “functional “ and human like. She’s probably rA9 for the Deviants in Detroit become human.
My passion, and my career started with this man. A passionate teacher and a legend in AI, machine learning, ....
I do not doubt new jobs will be created after implementing AI, what concerns me is the speed of change. Most people will not be able to transform their skills to fill the new job vacancies as fast as old jobs are automated away. Despite this guy is soooo biased, it seems like his main takeaway is right: our only defense is to try to ride the wave instead of waiting for it to crush us.
9:03 The problem with this "Role Playing" argument, is that you can pose it in any scenario, including one where true AI, a synthetic intelligence has become sentient. There is an inherent bias here. To say they it "hasn't evolved to want the things we want", ignores that the reason we evolved those desires was for survival. All of our traits evolved out of a survival instinct, including love and…
I wish people understood that calling LLM technology "AI" is a huge misrepresentation of what it is, in order to sell a product. It isn't intelligence, it doesn't think. All it can do is spit out words that *mimic* what a human might say. ChatGPT and all the other "AI" chatbots out there are like really advanced random word generators. The advice of a chatbot on ANY subject is less than worthless…
This stuff scares me so bad but I can't stop thinking about it and worrying about it. This guy's like the AI Oppenheimer
4:56 i love how this is 100% applicable to Ai users and they don't even realize it
I like the "Best case scenarios" in this video. Sadly AI advances are being driven by profit and military advantage. I don't see how it could possible go well for the human race.
AI in education is really exciting! I've been using Olovka, and it’s transformed how I manage my notes and essays. Such a relief!
