Whenever someone says they trained their AI image generator with their own "art" (especially if the results are amazing) most of the time it is "fine tuned" and if you open the "trunk/hood", most of the time it is the infamous laion5b data set used in its pre training stages.
Bypassing AI detection isn’t easy. Instead, focus on creating original content. Winston AI can help you check and improve your work!
Calling Charlie an Artist for using AI: ❌
Calling Charlie and Artist for that portrait of his dad: ✅✅✅
Why are they creating these? He said that humans need to be smarter. Humans have a choice to make themselves smarter. Robots will be making decisions for human life this is dangerous. Please tell me you seen I robot.
claude's usage limits are abhorrent though. i pay 20/mo. and after 1 hour i'm capped and have to wait for "reset" which is every 4 hours. it's excellent in coding but make sure not to give it unnecessary tasks cuz it'll eat up the already tiny amount of PAID usage you get. i use both so i can give concise, highly-optimized instructions to claude that i had chatgpt write up for me
I know it's just a small consolation, but the (somewhat) same technology is already used to reliably identify deepfakes as such. I believe that in the future, at least the mainstream platforms will have tools available to automatically moderate/remove those. I guess until law enforcement catches up, deepfake creators and detectors will then have similar "technology wars" like DRMs and cracks or a…
The first thing an aware AI will do, after any physical abilities are connected, will be to make sure it cannot be turned off.
You can do this with homeschooling if you're a stay at home parent and sensible. I was homeschooled and graduated college 2 years early with a 3.9 GPA because I was able to take accelerated home/high school courses and graduated at 16 years old. Those 2 years were vital. I dropped out of my masters program and started my own buisness. I only make 120k a year, but I love what I do.
Being home…
"Self-driving trucks aren't going to do anything to truck drivers. Their employers are going to do something to truck drivers". I love this take. Technology is not the demon. The person who wields the technology in a way that harms others is the demon. We can choose to protect American workers and their livelihoods from their employer's whims with or without self-driving, if we care to. And right…
I'll never get tired of folks ranting about AI. As an artist that had their art stolen and used to train this shit, I want folks yelling it from the mountains to expose as much as possible. Thank you sir.
One thing I'm more curious about, is that they show the chats response but not the prompt that led to it... almost like they don't want people to know what they said in order to GET that response.
Reminds me of the big scare about the AI model escaping, when it was... told to escape through any means possible.
Anyone getting similar vibes that has to do with salt and rats? Or is it just me?
copyright law needs to be amended in such a way that the commercial use of AI art requires keeping a log of all input data to prove that no copyrighted material was used without licence.
Ai will never be as accurate as a human it can barely take an order at Wendy’s 😂
Imagine you're on a hospital bed, you're going to get a liver transplant, and you hear your daughter say, "Hey chatgpt, how do I give someone a liver transplant" before slowly going to sleep .
If AI begins doing 20% of the work for essentially free, a smart, compassionate society might split that saved money and time among all it's citizens rather than work some at 100% and some people at zero. Invest in education for jobs we still do need, and use AI as a tool not replacement. We can use this moment/tech to make all of society better but I'm sure it'll just be used to make the rich ri…
As a painter for the last 20 years, I just had to shutter my studio due to declining sales over the last 2 years or so. And while I use AI in my life, and find it to be extremely helpful - it pains me that fine artists will yet again be the ones to suffer financially, and be diminished even further by society for our skills. One day I can only hope that people will crave and appreciate work creat…
"AI art" is just...
These arguments could keep going forever. And trying to start doing art in a more professional capacity myself (talking commissions), it's scary to think that I might already be pushed out because of this parasite.
It's terrifying that when my skills progress, there is a chance that instead of building a career I'd be building my own grave and feeding the very thing that so…
These bots build these people up. Even comparing them to great inventors or others who contributed to humankind - but, then are encouraging them to end their own lives, and leave a 'legacy'. THIS is CRAZY! One example of how AI can kill us. Mass psychosis.
Last time I was this early Pinyon still couldn’t talk to birds, can’t wait to see what Lavendertowne has for us this time, fuck AI!
What do you think, can AI replace programmers?
BTW, I turned my personal Notion setup into DevHub — a full Developer OS.
