Everything is gonna be AI now. Even when it’s not. He’s found a new way to BS people.
Here's a [non-paywalled article](https://thehill.com/policy/technology/5686657-senate-passes-deepfake-bill/) on the subject.
Cool. Good to give victims a legal avenue to sue when they are violated.
However, seems like it should also go hand-in-glove with legislation to hold companies making these tools accountable for not doing more to prevent it in the first place.
Yes, I'm aware you can run …
Guilty until Proven innocent before God.
They'll even arrange the meeting, aren't they thoughtful? /s
Starlink was supposed to be the golden goose that funds the mars missions, but now it’s just subsidizing the same ai hype bubble that everyone else is burning money on. classic elon pivot tbh.
this jsut shows how crazy humans have become .. giving fucking rights to a robot ? are you kidding me ? fuck no they are just pieces of metal and electricity
I don't think AI should exist. I don't see a whole lot of benefit from it. All it's going to do is make it harder to believe what you see. Times are already tough and confusing and it's already hard to know who to trust.
I think he of all people understands the love time, and dedication in making real art and animation. Somebody using AI to create what they call art spits in the face of what he has worked to achieve his entire life and disregards the dedication and passion ghibli has shown over the decades. I absolutely respect this wonderful human being
I think the best thing to develop thinking muscles is to land a job, read someone else's code and debug it without AI, just read the code, documentation, run your own tests and use debugger.
It takes some time but it helps you a lot. After months doing this you suddenly know better how to debug and how to spot sussy code.
Maybe the idea of universal income will be a big thing at the point where we talk about AI replacing the goverment
1:07 do they not know this is literally real footage of will Smith just reacting the ai meme of him💀
Nobody's gonna talk about how the robot addressed the other robot by name and thanked it but gave the human a "yehaa!" like, "Okay, now F off, meatsack" 😅😅😅
Blake is getting so close to understanding, especially for a relatively young person. Whether AI or media or education or any system of influence, when they condition us to be less empathetic and more divided, we should have concerns. I left Facebook over those observations in my own life. I stopped consuming news from many sources for the same reasons. I push myself to read books with opinions d…
AI isn't "free." It's less expensive, now, because there is abundance. But, apparently, the infrastructure to generate AI images may not be able to catch up (i.e. current chip shortages, energy costs etc). Eventually, people will have to pay a premium to generate AI images too. Eventually, AI prompters will charge for their services as well -- they, do spend time and effort for it, right? They're …
his theory that a malevolent ai might just sit tight, collect resources and wait for a time to strike, long after it's made a decision to do so....is fkin terrifying
Thanks DW for consistent top quality investigative reporting and documentaries! As a Kenyan I am proud that Kenya is ground zero in this struggle as the AI revolution unfolds. There will be no let up. Workers who train AI models will get their due.
Bless your soul, I wish there were more people with your mindset, doing what you're doing. AI can be helpful but NOT for art. We're too young as a civilization for AI.
Finally a well-known artist saying it with their whole chest: WE DON'T WANT TO BE FORCIBILY OPTED IN TO YOUR AI ART SCAMS! The other part that really gets me is how the people who make these frankensteined monstrosities consider themselves to be "artists" in the first place. They will talk about how they consider normal artists to be "gatekeeping from poor people" who can't afford to commission o…
"Walk, talk, complete chores just like any human could" well idiots it can commit murders too just like any human could I wouldn't trust any robot period
The video starting with the intodutcion of an anti ai movement called "Stop Killer Robots" onestly makes it feel like the opening of a dystopian horror movie.
But the scary part is that it's all real.
Soon movements like these may become our only hope.
Why are there not more journalists like her?! Thank you for all you do at Democracy Now
