AI isn't "free." It's less expensive,now, because there is abundance. But, apparently, the infrastructure to generate AI images may not be able to catch up (i.e. current chip shortages, energy costs etc). Eventually, people will have to pay a premium to generate AI images too. Eventually, AI prompters will charge for their services as well -- they, do spend time and effort for it, right? They're not going to work for $1/hour either.
And we'll be back to square one where the need for "art" will be proportional to the price they are willing to pay. 😊
